A 220 kV overhead transmission line, approximately 170 km long, will be constructed from the existing hydroelectric power plant in Gove to the Chipindo-Cuvango-Jamba settlements, and substations will also be installed in these settlements.
This project will mark the first time that electricity has been transferred from the national grid in the northern part of the country to the southern part of the country, bringing electricity to the three settlements of Chipindo, Cuvango, and Jamba.
This project is being implemented using the EPC+F model. Pak Yatırım secured the necessary financing from international banks on behalf of the Angolan Government under favorable terms.
